"I love to inspire and empower better lives. It wasn’t easy to get to this point because I first had to inspire and empower myself. When I was a teenager and college student, I abused myself so badly, I don’t know how I survived. Wracked with guilt, anger, and self-doubt, I battled with bulimia, many drugs, and surrounded myself with objects I didn’t need. There was nothing that could get rid of the emptiness I felt inside.
Oddly, even in my depths, people told me that I inspired them. People elected me leader of the pack. People cried in my arms telling me that I had changed their life for the better. There came a point when it became too painful to deny the disconnect of my own self hatred and the love others felt for me, and a new journey emerged. I practiced meditation, got acupuncture, read empowering books, listened to inspiring speakers, and traveled to healers all over the world. Slowly, I began to unwind my fear from the most authentic version of myself, and the world became a bit brighter.
All we can do is pursue our highest and greatest self with discipline each day. I am blessed to know that when I work to become a better and better version of myself, I have the innate ability to bring others with me. So does everyone else. It is my life’s path to stay dedicated to that journey, and I invite you to join me. The answer to ultimate health, wealth, abundance, clarity, and love is already inside of you. Love yourself, and the rest will follow." - @thefarmacistala (New York, NY)
